Our last love story for February comes from Allison and Jon, who will be married this September.  They’re such a fun couple and I can’t wait to be  a part of their wedding!

Jon and Allison got engaged April 3rd, 2009. Allison had had an awful week of being extremely sick and extremely overwhelmed with school work. She had called Jon that night around 5:30pm from work to see if they could just relax that night and stay in. Jon told Allison that he wanted to take her out and that she needed to hurry home if she wanted to have time to change. At 6:00pm when Allison got off of work, she called Jon and he told her that she needed to call him and tell him when she was almost home because he had a surprise for her. Nothing big, he assured her, just something to make her feel better after along week.

As Allison pulled up to their apartment and got inside, there was a note taped to their mailbox telling her to follow the notes and that he hoped that this would cheer her up. Taped all the way up the railing of the 3 flights of stairs up to their apartments were more notes, each listing a reason why he loved her. When Allison finally got to their aparment door, she opened it to find Jon kneeling inside the door. He was shaking like crazy and immediately blurted out “Will you marry me?” Of course she said yes and they spent the rest of the evening calling family and friends and driving around to show off the new ring!
